Blaine Earl Lynch of Camrose, AB passed away peacefully at the Louise Jensen Care Centre on September 24, 2010 at the age of 68. Blaine was an amazing husband, Dad and Grandpa that always held his family first in his heart. After many years of working hard on the rigs, Blaine retired at the age of 53 following a vehicle accident that left him a quadriplegic. With his incredibly positive attitude and zest for life he continued to be the rock that got us through. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 46 years, Marge and their two daughters, Natalie Lynch (Sherwood Park, AB) and Darcy Marks and her husband Trevor (Athabasca, AB); grandchildren, Brandon Lynch and Travis, Nicholas, Zachary and Stacey Marks. Also remembering Blaine are his sister Faye Killoh (Ross), Carlyle, SK; brother, Doug Lynch, Brandon, MB; sister-in-law Lucille Moore, Port Coquitlam, BC; sister-in-law Bea Merkowsky (John) and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Blaine was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Nora Lynch; mother and father- in-law Ethel and Ornsby Moore; brother and sister-in-law Dallas and Nicki Lynch and their children Jacqueline and Corey; brother Bruce Lynch; brother-in-law Stanley Moore and great-nephew Cody Lynch. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge (4702 50 Ave) with Rev. Alan Richards and MaryAnn Pastuck officiating. Inurnment took place in the Camrose Cemetery.
