In sympathy "A life well lived leaves it's gentle pattern on the hearts of all and the world is a lovelier place because one person touched it with warmth and goodness and grace" Jessica St James I feel that saying decribes Bitz pretty well. He was a wonderful, funny, generous and caring person. I will not forget the visits he made to me while I was in the hospital with a serious injury. It was an honour to have known him. My sister Marabell married Bitz’s brother Pat, so I came to know Bitz from a young age. Both brothers were models for me and gave much support. Bitz's laughter and strong business image always impressed me as fun, energetic and generous. Still in my memory – 1964 - Bitz supported our band, "Jan and The Ortegas" by providing his Hi-Way 13 flatbed for our “float” in the Camrose parade. It was more than generous and remembered fondly. Freddie, Kerry Ann, Michael, Debbie, Tracey & Bobby: My heart is broken to hear of the passing of Uncle Bitz. I have many beautiful family memories of him which I will cherish forever.
