Janice Martha Brusseau of Camrose, passed away on Thursday March 29, 2018 at the age of 78 years.
Janice Martha Brusseau was born on June 24th, 1939 inCamrose, Alberta where she grew up. Janice worked for many years at Rosehaven as an aide, then for home care and finally as a physiotherapy aide.She enjoyed lunch with friends, her Rosehaven supper club and garage saling. Janice also greatly valued her close friendships with Audrey, Colleen, Pat, Helen and Marlene who she had known since grade one. Some of her favourite things included big earrings, shoes, anything with lace and the colour pink. She especially loved sewing. Janice was passionate about decorating and making special occasions extraordinary for her family - especially Halloween and Christmas. She was a very devoted Mother and Grandmother. We will always remember and cherish Janice's kind heart, her love for her family and friends, and her fondness for all animals.
Janice is survived by her two children, Shelley Racz and Dwayne (Yvette) Brusseau. Her six grandchildren and her three great grandchildren. Her extended family, Donald (Cindy) Hill, Daniel Hill, Susan (Darren) Ink, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Marilyn (Thomas) McLaren, Stanley (Susan) Hitman, and Paulette Hitman. Janice was predeceased by her parents Harold and June Hitman and her brother Robert Hitman.
A celebration of life was held at 2:00pm on Sunday April 8, 2018 from the Camrose Masonic Hall.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of one's choice.
