I met Joe in 1970, as a young sales rep with EECOL, and the relationship continued later when we opened BJ Electric Supplies. Originally it was nothing more than that of a customer and supplier, but over time we developed a strong friendship. Each time he called, it opened with “ Hey Gringo”, and there was always lots of insults and laughs before we got down to business. A unique side of Joe was his Height to Girth relationship as both were roughly 60”! We shared many a laugh when I presented him with his XXXL Golf Shirts that fit around his belly, but stretched to his knees.
Joe was just the nicest guy you could ever meet. I hope he’s in a place where they offer a Cold Jug of Beer and a Winning Slot Machine to a terrific Guy.

Joe was a good man and a great friend of Dad's. They spent a lot of time together in the warehouse sorting military surplus. This friendship filtered down to us kids who were always treated with respect by Joe. Condolences are extended from our family to yours. May God bring you comfort in this time of loss.
