As we say our goodbyes
There’s many things I realize
Your time with us was a true gift
Your smile, your laugh could give all a lift,
Your hair flowed like the music from your mouth to our ears
You were there for the laughter & there for the tears,
We are thankful for all life’s gifts you have given to our family tree
Including Two beautiful girls, our cousins they were always meant to be,
Your unconditional love, Your wisdom, your passion for music we adore,
We were truly blessed & thankful for all of this and so much more.
Your love for your family shone so pure so strong
If only their love was a cure you would still be where you belong
Uncle Brian was a chosen gift to that was given to my Aunt, her family & to us too
We are most grateful & blessed for the life & times he shared with all everyone he knew,
We are all better for knowing you Uncle Brian & having your light in our life
We are hugging the broken hearts of your beautiful grandson, your children & of course your wife,
My heart breaks that my dear Aunt no longer has your hand to hold
But I know she can close her eyes, hug her heart & you can dance together in the fields of gold.

We were so sad to hear of Brian's passing. From band trips, to guitar lessons to casual conversations and anytime we ran into him he displayed that he was a man of integrity and shone with genuine care. His deep faith in God was obvious too, which helps to ease the pain from grief knowing he is smiling in the company of angels. God Bless all who are grieving Brian's passing. We will miss him.

We have truly witnessed a man of God, walking with us, supporting us and graciously lifting us up every day. The empathy he showed students at CKS was motivating for the rest of us. He gave freely of his talents, especially running and music, for the students' benefit and stopped often in his day to walk and listen to their troubles...life saver mints were not very far away! Brian, you are and will be missed. Rest now, my friend.

Our paths crossed in so many meaningful ways, Brian!
We ran together, prayed together, drooled over the beautiful grain of various hardwoods together...worshipped, grieved, ate, laughed, wept, and even had our disagreements...together! I will miss you greatly, 'til we see each other again.
Grace and peace are now yours in fullness.
