We were so shocked to hear of Vern's diagnosis. It seemed almost impossible. He was so good to Mom and anybody else that needed help. Vern was always there. We enjoyed having a beer and a visit with him. Our sympathy goes out to your entire family.

Dear Lori, I would like to extend my condolences on the loss of your dad. I witnessed how an amazing husband to your mother he was during her last months. I am grateful to the both of them in getting the pictures of Peggy's twin brother to his son. They are the only pictures he has of his dad. Glen's Xmas tree is hanging in there. You are a wonderful family.

We share the extended families shock and dismay at the sudden loss of Vern, especially following so close to Winnie. They were both personal friends of special significance. The memories of our times together, especially in Whitehorse, will always be part of our favourite recollections.

To all of Werner's family. I would like to say how shocked I was, to hear of his passing this weekend. I was away on personal matters and returned to hear of the news from John. I had a great deal of respect for your father and always liked talking to him about his travels and work when he was up north in inuvik. I had chatted with him in the fall in superstore and also again recently here at the funeral home. We spoke of his son's shop in vegas. He always had a smile and good words to share . I felt it was an honor to serve him and your family when your mother Win passed away. I will always think of your dad as a kind and genle man. My thoughts and concern are with you all at this time.
