I grew up with and went to school with Herbert. We got confirmed together. I remember Herbert as a quiet but very studious person who was kind and generous to his friends. Although I have not seen or been in touch with Herbert since about 1959 he was always one of my favourite people. I am saddened by his untimely passing.

I remember Herb from our Luther League days- it seems a long time ago now. He was a fine and upstanding person. I am so sorry to hear that he has passed away too early. My condolences to his wife and family.
