Bonnie,
I was saddened to hear of Garry's passing. I only just heard. He was a fantastic guy and you were an amazing wife. I remember watching the Canucks lose at the Stanley cup get-togethers at your house in St. Albert. You both were amazing hosts and I remember Garry so fondly from the many talks and good times had. Please accept my condolences and know I think of you often.

Bonnie Derek and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. We are sorry we could not be there with you at the funeral but we are in BC and could not get back in time. I know that this time will be one of the hardest you will ever have. When my mum passed away I realized that that there is nothing like the loss of someone that you have loved or someone that has loved you and only time will help to heal that sorrow. I would like to pass on my condolances to Bonnie and the family. I worked with Gary at AVCO in Edmonton in 1984 and he was a fine gentleman who enjoyed life and a good time. It was a pleasure to have meet and worked with him.

I had the privilege of working with him during my career and remember that he had a passion for many sports especially golf and hockey! Bonnie, very sorry to hear about Garry. I can only recall having a lot of fun with a guy that had a great sense of humour. He preferred to laugh then snarl. I recall Garry very well from our time at Avco. When I would visit him in Winnipeg or when he was in London Garry was always a "colourful" character who was not afraid to speak his mind. He was thoughtful and possessed a great sense of humour. I recall vividly his pride of having been a graduate of the University of Winnipeg. Best wishes to his family, Jeff Low
