Mrs. Barbara Fischer of Camrose, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the age of 94 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her four sons, Ron (Audrey) of Camrose, Ray (Karen Jones) of Victoria, B.C., Ken (Katie Woycechowsky) of Camrose, Lloyd (Heather McVittie) of Camrose, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her brother Ed Schamber, two sisters Millie Grant, Catherine Schamber, and her sister in law, Ludwina Kempstead. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1956, and eight brothers and sisters.
A Prayer Vigil was held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 8:00pm., from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:30 am., from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Larry Pederson and Rev. Don Stein as concelebrants. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery.
