Obituary of Paul Rolseth

Paul Rolseth beloved husband of Jean Rolseth of Calgary passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the age of 89 years.
Paul was born in Selbu, Norway and immigrated to Canada with the family in 1927. He took early school in a one room school, Busk School, and graduated from Camrose Lutheran College in 1942. Paul joined the R.C.A.F and trained as a Radar Technician, serving overseas during WWII for four years. He married his school friend, Jean Stewart, on November 8, 1947 in Duhamel, AB. Paul worked as an electrician most of his life in Alberta, British Columbia, Minnesota, Wyoming and on the D.E.W. Line. Paul and Jean spent many happy years of retirement at Driedmeat Lake near Camrose.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Jean; son Colin (Nancy) Rolseth; daughter Lynda (Gary) Vallet; six grandchildren Todd (Tracey), Scott (Gail), Danny (Tara), Carla (Trent), Mark (Stephanie), and Kyle (Ceara); and twelve great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Bardo and Mali Rolseth and ten siblings.
A Funeral Service was held 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2012 from Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Eriksson. Inurnment took place in the Camrose Cemetery.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
