I am very saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Bailey. Although it has been many years since I last saw her, I will always remember her as an extremely kind, compassionate and supportive person, who lived her life with dignity and cared a lot about people. These included her students and the friends of her son, Brian. I extend my sincere condolences to Brian during this difficult time and assure him that his mother will always hold a special place in our hearts.

It is with sadness that I learned of your mother's death and I extend warm compassion to all of you at this time. I remember Mrs. Bailey,(I can not call her Helen)who certainly inspired me to love to read more books. She must also given me some of the courage, that she held, to become a Jr. and Sr. High School Teacher for more than 35 years. My thoughts are with you at this time. I am sending sympathy on behalf of my mother, Beatrice Allan Swan, who was a good friend of Helen's. My mom has expressed many wonderful memories of the time she and her husband Charlie spent with Ron & Helen. Bea is thinking of all of Helen's family and is sad that her own health prevents,her from attending the service for Helen tomorrow.

Mrs. Bailey was a kind, caring teacher when I was a student in her class, and I was always touched when, years later, we'd occassionally bump into each other and she still remembered me and many of my friends. May it bring some comfort to know how fondly she will be remembered.
