Auntie Anna was a wonderful Aunt. I have very fond memories of her throughout my life. I know that she suffered a lot from various problems in her life, yet I never remember her complaining about them. I really felt for her when I realized that she had lost three babies shortly after birth and it was wonderful that she and Uncle Ivar adopted three children and gave them a good life. She was so good to me in her later years. I miss her to this day, twelve years later.

Roger, Deborah, Darlene. I was sadden to hear of the death of your mother. I always will remember her kindness and her warmth. When I was a kid, we came to visit often and many times I remember staying at your place for a few days. The kitchen seemed to be the main meeting place and I can still remember sitting at the kitchen table by the window, with your dad telling his stories and jokes and your mom laughing - it always seemed to me that they enjoyed each other so much. I will always remember your mom fondly. May she rest in peace. I'm sorry that I I'm not able to make it to Hay Lakes for the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rueben Grue, Kelowna, BC
