I was very saddened to hear of Mr. Hooper's passing. He was a brilliant, dedicated and rigorous teacher at Bawlf High School. I will never forget his passion for teaching and for us to learn. He was a real gift to all those who had the privilege to be his student. He was a community pillar. He was also my junior high basketball coach. I wish I had taken the opportunity to express my gratitude for the example he set and the impact he had on so many. All the best to his family. As one of "Mr. Hooper's" high school students in the mid-fifties I have always thought of him as "one of the best". As a family may you find comfort in knowing that many of us have most fond memories of both your dad and your mother and our days together in Bawlf.
