Obituary of Bartlett Silverthorn

Mr. Bartlett Silverthorn from Camrose, formerly of Wetaskiwin, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the age 44 years. Bart Silverthorn was born in Edmonton, Alberta on July 30, 1968. His early schooling was mainly at Mundare, Alberta where he graduated with honors. He attended the University of Alberta, graduating with a commerce degree and later worked at Treasury Branch, Wal-Mart, 7-11 convenience store and taxi driving. Most recently he was employed by "Leo" of Camrose Delivery Service and Our Lady of Mount Pleasant School. He loved life and his family dearly and did not say no to anyone he met who needed help. He was a friend to all. Bart is survived by his parents Robert and Rose; brother Randy; sister Cindy. He is also survived by Uncles Dick and Robert, and Aunt Gwen; three nephews Shawn, Braden, and Nicholas; niece Christine; also numerous cousins; and many friends. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
