My earliest memories of Jean were of my Dad taking the mission board mail out to their farm and then picking it up. It was always carefully and cheerfully done. My most recent memories were in working with her in the Western Canadian WCG where her diligence coupled with her love of missions were a delight. Through many years it has been a privilege to know this special lady.4

When I arrived in Camrose in 1982, to become the Executive Secretary, I found Jean to be a pillar of strength and integrity. She never flinched from supporting me and the work that I undertook in organizing the General Assembly, etc. Jean and Alan were genuine lovers of God and His people, and were loyal to their friends among whom Barbara and I were honoured to be counted. Rest in peace dear sister.
