Ron had a zest for life like none I have ever known. His energy for pursuit of adventure was tireless whether it be travel,hunting, business or the next mountain to climb.Laughter and fun always came no matter the situation. I never met a man that had the characteristics that enabled him to surround himself with so many friends, drawn close because of his magnetic personality. I don't remember anyone in my life that had the same impact that Ron had with me. I consider him as one of my closest and lasting friends in my life. The world will have to wait for another Ron. Carol, Alan, Peter, and Nancy. I am so sad for your loss. Ron was not only the greatest business partner that I ever could have had, he was also a true and great friend. I spoke with Ron on Saturday to wish him a Happy Birthday. I never dreamt it would be our last conversation. We talked of meeting when he came to Calgary next week.
