Hello Elaine and family, I was so sad to hear of Lyndy's passing. I'm sure he leaves a big hole in your lives. May your memories, and the knowledge he's with Jesus, be a comfort to you. I had hoped to join you yesterday at the funeral. However, a previous commitment that I was unable to get someone else to take prevented me from doing travelling to Camrose. Please know that you are in our prayers. Blessings and peace to you all Lynn

Dear Elaine, Kristi, and Lynette and all the rest of the family--thinking of you all with deepest sympathy and love. Wish I could be there with you. I will always remember Uncle Lyndy as a gifted storyteller, wonderful joker, and a gentle, warm soul. I can think of no better way to honour him than to share my favourite corny joke: Q. How do you catch a unique rabbit? A. You 'neek up on it. :-) Rest in Peace Uncle Lyndy! Much love, Rebecca

Our deepest condolences to Elaine and family. I had the pleasure of working with Lyndy for over 36 years and valued our friendship. My total engineering knowledge came from Lyndy(not easy for a management type)and was with him on the many projects he undertook in Camrose, Edmonton and Kamloops. Lyndy was that special individual who if you spent a few minutes with you always learned something.

Elaine and family, I also was very saddened to learn of Lyndy's passing. Thinking of Lyndy always brought a smile to my face, especially some of the stories he told of his younger years with radios. He and I taught radio classes in Camrose for a number of years, we were a pretty good team. May God continue to give you comfort. Terry VE6TDW

Very sorry to hear of Lyndy's passing. I was one of the original employees of CKRA-FM in November 1979, and remember the great effort Lyndy put in to get the station on the air. He was also a warm and friendly gentleman, with a great sense of humour. It gave me a good first impression of the fine folks I would come to know in my seven years in Alberta.

Dear Family and Loved Ones of Lyndy, I met Lyndy via ham radio many years ago and talked with him via the night Pow Wow Club on winter evenings. It always was a test for me to guess which, of his many radio 'rigs', was in play that evening. His successes with metal lathing were a joy to learn about. He will be missed by those of us whom he met in ham radio and by me. 73 (radio code for "best wishes"), Bill
