We were saddened to hear of Walter's passing. It was always a pleasant experience to deal with him at Mina's. It would have been fun to have gotten to know Walter better. We read with interest his history in Michigarn. Carrol's great great grandfather spent time in Huron County, Michigan. From Walter we may have learned more about that part of the USA and its proximity to Canada. Carrol and Leon Burkard

I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved all the time I got to spend with Walt. Our meetings were brief, but I always felt happy after talking with him. I hope your happy memories help to overcome the sadness with time.

We were shocked to learn about Walt's passing in the Booster tonight Jackie. Our hearts go out to your family. I am sure he will be sadly missed by his grandchildren. I bet he was a great grandpa.

So sad to read of Walt's recent passing. He was such a friendly fellow; warm, kind and always up for a chat. My thoughts are with Jacquie and his family at this sad time. He will be missed. (So sorry I missed his funeral - I didn't know until I just read The Booster.)
