We wish to express our heartfelt sympathy Betty and the rest of the family. We have many special memories of the family spending many days and hours at our farm when the Pearson family was in Camrose. We had a very good visit "remembering with David and Steven at the lunch following the service. Lots of laughs about the risks the boys would take and so many other things. Our love and prayers-Bob and Sandra and the rest the Chester Throndson family.

Pastor Bob was my university chaplain while I attended UBC from 1964-1968. His kindness, compassion, openness and the way he lived his faith, had a profound effect on me. I am certain it was one of the reason that I too became a pastor. I give God thanks that I was fortunate to know and to love him.

Dear Betty and Family I have know Bob since I moved to Alberta in 1979. I was at Our Savior Lutheran in Edmonton. I enjoyed peer relationship with him. I also had a great deal of respect for Bob. My late wife and I enjoyed social times with Bob and his late wife Helen. I met you (Betty) on several occasions. Betty were a joy to him and a blessing. Dave and I wish to say how sorry we are to hear about Pastor Bob. We were married by him in 1968 at the Lutheran Campus Center and will always remember his kind and loving spirit. He helped us through counselling and wise advice to get off to a great start in our marriage. I was fortunate to know the family well during my Luther League and University years as I spent hours at the Campus Center. I will always have the fondest memories of him. Love to all of the family. We remember with love and joy, Bob Pearson. Marie remembers him as pastor and choir director at CLBI. We both remember the hospitality of Bob and Betty, and the good talks. Thank God for Bob Pearson.
