My husband and I met Gary 2 years ago when we were looking for a barber in Camrose. He was such a kind hearted man, he truly impacted my life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. We will miss you, Gary.

Our condolences to Maurina & Dorina and the Brown family. We have fond memories of Gary. We remember taking Round Dance Lessons from Gary in the Wye Road Hall, Sherwood Park. One evening lessons came to a stand still. One of our fellow dance couples dressed for the occasion made their way to the front of the hall and were married on the spot. The whole event was most probably orchestrated by Gary. Gary Owen Brown's name has been entered in the Alberta Square & Round Dance Federaion memorial book. Norman & Loretta Demeule

To Gary Brown's family: You don't know me, but for the past few years I have been one of Gary's many clients. He "lowered my ears" every 3 or 4 weeks. Gary was so positive to be around. He was so easy to talk to. He made me feel welcome. He loved this community. I am especially sorry for your loss. Gary's loss to the community will be felt by hundreds of people. The arts community has lost a wonderful teacher and promoter. For those of us who depended on Gary to give us a trim and an occasional shave, we will miss the time we spent one on one with Gary. Gary was someone I am proud to have known. Cherish and enjoy the memories you have of Gary.
