I remember how kind Howard was to me when my son Blair and I went to our first Prince George Cougars tryout. I felt lost and confused and Howard was thoughtful enough to explain how it all worked. He "walked" us through the process so it wasn't more intimidating than it already was! He was always encouraging and helpful. Cannot thank him enough! He will always be remembered in our household as a kind, friendly and generous soul.9

I heard of Howard's passing last Sunday and it saddened my spirit. I wanted to send out condolences to his family. He was always a pleasure to see at our place of employment. So sorry to hear about Howard. I will always remember hanging out with the Boucks's at Bart and Travis's hockey games. Many years after the fact, you would still see Howard at the arena.

Lanis and I are truly saddened to hear of Howard's passing. His accident has been first and foremost in all of our conversations with our neighbors these past weeks. They all know what a wonderful man Howard was as a neighbor and friend. I was sitting out by the fire last week remembering that Howard told me how he often sat out there in the evenings enjoying the place he created. I know we will never sit around that pit without thinking of him. What a warm and caring man he was, always interested in how we were enjoying our new home. He always made us feel like he was really glad to run into us.
