Just a note to tell you how sorry for your loss. Kay was a wonderful lady and a elegant and warm mentor to me when we served on the School Board together. Myself and also my eldest daughter Jennifer were blessed to share her wisdom and strength. Hope the great memories bring you all comfort. Warments Reguards.

Dearest Reist Family, We are just now hearing of Kay's passing. We offer our deepest sympathies to all of you at this time and this news saddens us greatly. Our fondest Dayland memories often include a member of the Reist family. Kay was a wonderful neighbor, a dear friend, and an outstanding member of the community. She was especially kind to Merle. He enjoyed her company and outstanding culinary skills!! She is in good hands now. God Bless.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I know that nothing can take away the pain that you are feeling right now, but I just want you to know that your mother was an inspiration to me and I will remember her forever. Kay made CGIT a fun and learning time. She was also so kind to my Mom and gave her rides often.

Auntie Kathleen was an incredible woman and I remember her wonderful laugh as her and my mom shared a funny memory or story. I loved visiting Daysland and hold a very special place in my heart for that pink house and my family who lived there. I am so sorry for your loss. Hopefully she is laughing again with her sisters Betty and Bernice!! Love, Rena

While moving away from Daysland when I was very young blurred my childhood memories of Kay, it was wonderful to get reacquainted when she would come to St. Benedict School for School Celebrations and other events. My condolences go out to Gary, Marietta, Chelsea, Jenna and all the members of the Reist extended family.
