Grams, it's been over 2 weeks now since you left us. I am so sad I'm not going to Camrose tomorrow to see you and get a kiss. Linda, Chris, Bruce and Kevin, I'm sooo very sorry for your loss. I wanted to share a memory from many years ago. I was attending a birthday dinner for her at Bruce and Kelly's place. My family was suffering the sudden loss of our dear grandma and the loss was still very raw. I remember walking into the party and quickly saw grandmala the guest of honor over across the room, our eyes met and she held out her arms and ushered me to come see her. Naturally I made my way over to her to say hello and wish her a happy birthday. Well she embraced with me a big squeeze and said to me I'll be your grandma, sigh. Tears filled my eyes and my heart swelled. That memory epitomizes her in every way, such affection and tenderness. She had such charm and I just loved how sassy and classy of gal she was. Take care and hugs to you all.

Your mom was a special person to so many people. I always remember great visits at New Norway as a kid and lots of her homemade goodies to eat. She was such a warm and caring person and always made me feel loved ( that was her way with everyone). I will be remembering Ruth tomorrow too, even though I am unable to be at her celebration. Ruth was one of the good ones ! Will always remember and cherish the memories of her and Oris. She always was so kind and loving and truly concerned about everyone. I will always be grateful of the times I would be able to stay over when Mom and Dad we’re away. They both had an awesome sense of humor.Friends to young and old , a real zest for life ! So glad to take Dad over n visit on Father Day weekend ! She had to have her hug and kiss ,! She was so good and a dear friend to Mom . Forever greatful. New Norway reunion she just glowed in her Scandinavian attire. To the family, you know you were blessed to have had her. Thank you for sharing your parents in my life !
