Thought so much about my dear friend, Dr. Heather Penney. She called me when she came back to Canada and thought about her and prayed for her so often.
May you find comfort knowing she is now AT PEACE in Heaven.
She was a good friend. Met her in Toronto several years ago and we hit it off right away and shared many, precious moments

Anne,
I am so sorry about the loss of your mother, and I just learnt about her passing today from someone that used to work at the West end medical clinic where she used to work, and where I first met your mom. She was one of the kindest person I have ever met, and she gave me a lot of support in the dark times of my life. Unfortunately, we lost contact after she moved to Hawaii, and I just did not know where she was. She called me in the labor room when I was in labor with my one and only daughter, who is now 26 years old.I remembered meeting you at a real estate conference both she and I enrolled in and she was so proud of you.I just wished that I tried harder to find her after she left for Hawaii. Anne, I am so sorry about your mother’s passing. I trained at UWO with your mother. I can still remember driving with her one day and being overwhelmed by the sticky notes all over the dashboard reminding her of things to do to get going. My heartfelt sympathy. Judith

Heather was my classmate at UWO. We were next to each other alphabetically so we were partners throughout med school. She was always. cheerful, had a zany laugh heard all across the room and was quirky with a great sense of humour. I remember her vacuuming the lawn to find her contact lens she lost. She found it . We did presentations together at med school and I remember her doing the actions while I talked about the contraction of the bladder. It was hilarious. Even the professor smirked. I was hoping to see Heather at our reunion and am sad as is my wife Susie that she has left us. Wishing now we had kept contact after training. Her kids were at Ridley with my son Kip. She is obviously a very valued person to her family and community and we will miss her infectious laugh and sense of humour.

Aloha and Shalom to the Ohana of our dearest sister Heather,
I would like to send you my fondest condolences at the loss of your mother. It's been a privilege to have her part of our congregation here in Hawai’i but most of all she was really part of our family. Her smile and vivacious laughter filled the room whenever she was there but it was her fervent prayers that touched lives that she will be remembered for. Adonai sent her to us for His Wonderful work and for that we are truly thankful! In Messiah we send our love!
