Agnes Irma Roth (Uhrich)
(January 12, 1924 - August 30, 2018)
Agnes was born on January 12th, 1924 in Kipling, Saskatchewan, daughter to Johan and Emily (Schultz) Uhrich. She met the love of her life, Helmut, in 1941. They were married on November 3rd, 1946 when he returned from serving overseas in WW2. Following the wedding in Kipling, they travelled by train to Alberta, where they settled and farmed in the Camrose and Bawlf areas, raising two sons. In 1972 they left the farm and moved into Camrose, where she worked at Bethany Nursing Home until retiring in 1985. When Helmut retired a year later, they spent the next few years travelling, seeing many interesting places until Helmut passed away in 1991. Agnes stayed in their Camrose home until 2011, when she moved into Sunrise Village where she currently resided.
Agnes Irma Roth passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018, at the age of 94 years. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Helmut in 1991; son Marvin in 2008; and brothers Arthur, William, Elmer, Herbert, and Henry (infant).
Agnes will be lovingly remembered by her son Dwayne (Linda); grandchildren Michael (Candace), Katherine (Darren) Domsky; great-grandchildren Tessa, Brynn, Kari and Joel; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Seasons Camrose for their care during her time there. Also thanks to the doctors and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital Unit 2 for the tender and loving care during her stay there.
