Bertha Florence Adeline Olsen
(August 24, 1921 - December 19, 2018)
On December 19, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones, Bertha F.A. Olsen passed away peacefully in Youville Home, St. Albert, at the age of 97 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Martin; her parents; brother Ernie Phillips; and sisters Berniece McColl, Caroline Nordby, and Dorothy Olsen. She is survived by her daughters Brenda Kennedy, and Marilyn (Gord) Whitehead; and two grandsons Garrett (Elena) and Marshall. Bertha and Martin were longtime farmers in the Daysland area before retiring to Camrose in 1999.
At mom’s request, there will be no funeral. A memorial family gathering has been held.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Bertha's memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, or to the charity of one's choice.
