Bernadette "Bernie" Elizabeth Quilter

(June 19, 1926 - December 31, 2018)

Bernadette “Bernie” Elizabeth Quilter of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the age of 92 years.
 

Bernadette made a difference in not only her children’s and grandchildren’s lives but anyone that ever met her. She never met a stranger, she loved to get to know people and made them feel important. Bernadette loved to garden, bake, and be with her friends and family. She taught her family how to love unconditionally.
Her legacy was she loved people, and she will always be remembered and cherished.
 

Left to cherish her memory are her children Neil Quilter of Edmonton, Judy Taylor of Dallas, Texas and Charles Quilter of Dallas, Texas; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Bernadette was predeceased by her husband Charles; son Ed; and daughters Marie and Diane.

  

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 - 51 Avenue Camrose with Father Larry Pederson as celebrant. Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
