Cheryl Ann Swanek

(March 10, 1946 - January 8, 2019)

Cheryl passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 7th, 2019 at the age of 72 years.
 

Left to cherish her memory are her children Kelly Swanek of Calgary, Cory (Dana) of Hay Lakes, Todd of Sherwood Park; grandchildren Abbigale and Allison; and companion Bob Abbott. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Doris Pettit; and brothers Brian Pettit, and Marvin Pettit. 
 

Cheryl grew up in South Edmonton and later moved to Camrose in 1982. Cheryl was a kind, considerate person who always had a smile and lots to say. She loved to visit and catch up with people and was always inquisitive. She was very thoughtful and never forgot a birthday or special occasion. 

A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Cheryl's memory may be made to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation as well as The Lung Association.
