Patty Lou Brokopp

(June 19, 1961 - February 3, 2019)

With tremendous sadness, the family of Patty Brokopp announces her peaceful passing on Sunday February 3, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose.

She was blessed with two sons; Michael Brokopp and Ryan Baily. Patty’s primary love was her boys.
After graduation from Camrose Composite High School, Patty was employed with Agricultural Development Corporation, which later became AFSC. During the 30 years she spent there, she managed to keep the file room organized despite the constant visits from her sons.
As a teenager, she loved to play sports, especially baseball, soccer and bowling. Patty had a talent for crafts: crocheting, ceramics, paper tole, and origami.
She loved to dance to country music, teaching her children how to two-step; she also spent a lot of time farming – on the computer that is.
Patty’s courage and determination, displayed in her battle with cancer, was an inspiration to her family. She didn’t want to be a burden to her family and never complained. When we asked her how she was doing, she would always reply that she was fine.
The fight was hard, but you never gave up; we will always love you and miss you.
Rest in peace.

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2019 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 - 51 Avenue Camrose. Interment has taken place in the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
