Mrs. Irene Moore of Camrose, formerly of Armena, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the age of 85 years.
She is survived by her children: Noel (Jamie Hill) of Medicine Hat, Shirley (Lorne) Moore of Abbotsford, B.C., Wendy (Gerald Grue) Meadahl of Forestburg, and Valerie (Dennis) Quarin of Camrose; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Florence Lyseng.
Irene was predeceased by her husband James in 1991, and two brothers: Bruce and Art Hendrickson.
Funeral services were held at 11: 00 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2008 from the Scandia Lutheran Church in Armena, with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Hospital Pastoral Care) officiating. Interment took take place in the Scandia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
