Obituary of Michael Leroy Miles

Michael Leroy Miles

(May 11, 1951 - July 6, 2019)

Michael Leroy Miles was born in Viking, Alberta on May 11, 1951. He was the third child of Charles and Eileen Miles of Irma, Alberta. Michael passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Saturday, July 6, 2019 in St. Mary’s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Life’s journey took him from Irma, to Red Deer, back to Irma before settling in Camrose in 1985 where he remained until his passing. 
His family and friends meant a great deal to him and they in turn loved him dearly for it. 

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his two sisters Margaret Sydora and Marilyn (Ben); two brothers Duane (Dorothy) Miles and Dave (Diane) Miles; and nine nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his parents Charles and Eileen Miles, and brother-in-law Fred. 

We know Michael would be as pleased and grateful as his family is, that you are joined in this celebration of his life. Thank you for your support.

A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday,  July 13, 2019 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. MaryAnn Pastuck officiating.
