To the McLean family - so very sorry to hear of Wynn’s passing (recent Augustana magazine). One morning in Camrose we serendipitously had coffee with Wynn - we were headed home after a visit with Mom. It was fun to reminisce and I was reminded how friendly and gracious Wynn was. Our thoughts are with your family as you grieve your loss.

Dear Judy and family,
So sorry to hear of Wynn's passing, my heartfelt condolences to you and the family.
Way back when I was 10 years old I remember being at your wedding and later you and Wynn gave me a silver dollar from that year as a little memento. I still have that dollar, kept inside one of grandpa's old pocket watch cases as it fit nicely inside. It is a nice little memory keepsake from that special day.

Dearest Judy and Shandy
I have such fond memories of Wynn! We met at University in the late sixties...he is much older than me of course. He was a protector/buddy during my first years at University. I went out with his friend Don Ferguson at the time.
Wynn came back into my life during his days running the Camrose Exhibition. He really loved that job! He also helped me with the early days of the Tour of Alberta. Wynn could always figure out a way to make things happen!
They broke the mold when they created Wynn.
Sorry I was unable to attend...I am a bit under the weather at the moment.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
When you are ready please come to my garden and we can pick some flowers and have a cup of tea. 13708 - 81 Ave T5R 3N8 780-231-3105

My condolences to Max's family. I was his friend for 8 years in grade school in Camrose. I have very fond memories of him as a loyal friend...very athletic, always upbeat, a natural leader. I loved visiting his parent's home and being around his mom and dad. There was so much love in that home. He leaves a wonderful legacy. “He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

Words can never express all that we are feeling, especially in times of loss.
Max was a wonderful, caring, giving, sensitive, generous and courageous man, a true salt of the earth. He was quick with a smile, had an infectious laugh, was a great teammate and friend. He was taken far too early and will be sorely missed by many.
Sincerest condolences on your terrible loss.

With great sadness we keep you in our thoughts and prayers at Wynn's passing. John was fortunate to have a chance to talk with Wynn at least once a year when we made the trip for the Brothers' golf tournie. I last had a wonderful talk with Wynn during the Bailey Theatre restoration; It was though I'd never left and he caught me up on things old and new. Wynn always made time to talk, his contributions to the city, great and Camrose will most certainly feel his absence a great long time.

Dear Judy:
I have many fond memories of Wynn - starting with those times, many years ago, when Phil and I got together with you both, and Mike P and Diane H. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then. Fast forward a few years, and I especially appreciated Wynn's contributions to the CDSS Board and City Council. Above all, I fondly remember, on behalf of Phil especially, and since Phil, too, is no longer with us...above all, I remember Wynn's love of music and the music he played and shared with many Camrosians over the years. There has got to be a rock n roll heaven, and he's got to be jamming -- I hope with Phil and Scott Stover, and others who will welcome him with open arms and his favourite guitar picks. And if there isn't such a place... well, let's dream that there is, and leave it at that. Take good care of yourself; it has been a hard journey. I hope you and your family find peace and comfort in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
Best wishes, and a great big hug, Margaret Holliston
