Sheldon Joseph Poirier

(July 13, 1950 - September 5, 2019)

 

Sheldon Joseph Poirier of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the age of 69 years.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his sons Joey (Joleen) of Reserve Mines, Nova Scotia, and Fabian (Crystal) of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia; five grandchildren; and siblings Gerry Poirierof Twillingate, Newfoundland, Sam (Cecilia McNeil-Kennedy) of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Lucille Mackie (Allie Mackie) of Howie Center, Nova Scotia, and Marie Poirier of Orangeville, Ontario.

 

Sheldon was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Lucy.

 

 A service will be held at a later date in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.


If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Sheldon's memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Cross Cancer Institute.
