My family and I are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of ALAIRE OBERG. She was the Principal at Aldergrove School for many years and was very well liked by all. As a very involved parent to our children Tricia & Jason Murray, I looked forward to Volunteering whenever the need was there. She personally asked me to do the Nutrition Program for several years running during the months of Jan - Mar. There were some 523 students including Support Staff and that was a pleasure & experience I will always treasure. I was also the Treasurer for all the Fund Raisers we held... trying to equip the school with Computers etc.. Alaire was wonderful to work with... always brought out the best in everyone & everything. Being on PAC, we wrote a letter to extend her stay @ Aldergrove School because she had to retire when she still had so much to give. She was so talented and a real wonderful person. Heaven has gained an ANGEL. Memory Eternal & RIP.

To Gary Schelar and Sandra Porter and their families.
I feel privileged in my life to have known your Aunt Alaire as a student in her grade two class, having her as a Tawny Owl in Brownies, and on many occasions when she brought her love of music and community to everyone in attendance. She will be well remember and missed by so many.
