Love to the MacIsaac family and special prayers for Merv, Christopher, and Jeremy. Jean is my Mom and I remember having so much fun with Cathy as a child when we visited Newfoundland. Maybe because she was closer to me in age than the rest of the clan, I always looked forward to seeing and talking with her. We would jump on the bunks, giggle like silly girls do, and she would take me around and make me talk to people to hear my funny “accent”. Sounds like she spent her life helping others which is no surprise to me. When one leaf falls from the tree, we are all changed forever. I will never forget her and the small kindnesses she extended to me that lasted a lifetime.

I met Cathy when she was 9 years old. She was quiet shy girl and smiled all the time.
Cathy never changed much, she was always a bit shy and always had a smile on her face.
Cathy grew into a beautiful young woman was loved by all who met her.
She was taken too soon and will be missed by all, but each of us will have our special memories of her.
I certainly have some great memories of Cathy and will cherish them forever,
You will be a “Shining Star” wherever you go.

To me, Cathy was witty, soft spoken, and strong. She was never judgmental and she accepted people for who they are. I worked with Merv for many years, and we became best friends. When we would get together sometimes, Merv and I would feed off each other and inflate one another’s egos. Cathy was always quick with a witty comment to deflate those egos and bring us back to reality. I’m so very thankful for that, otherwise Merv and I wouldn’t have been able to get our swollen heads out of the room. I don’t personally know the boys very well, but I do know that Merv and Cathy raised them well. What a great family...keep all those wonderful memories alive and she will always be with you. Cathy was a very special person and will be missed by many.

I was so very fortunate to get the opportunity to work with Cathy at Jack Stuart School in Camrose. She brought such joy to the school. Her warmth and kindness radiated throughout the building as she took care of not only the students, but also was always there for the staff as well. Always smiling and always willing to help no matter what kind of day I was having, I always felt better after a chat with Cathy. To say she will be missed does not say enough. From her brother Brendan.
Cathy was always the sweetest of the sweetest. A more pleasant person was not to be found. All who knew her loved her as I and my family and her family did. We will surely miss her and feel that her passing at such a young age is far too tragic. It was wonderful to have spent time with Cathy and Merv this past summer in both Camrose and Fort McMurray. She put on a brave face for us all. Our loss is heaven’s gain. Love you sister.

When my brother Anthony passed away, my sister Cathy came up with the idea to drive to Bragg Creek and Bow Falls to honor our brother. I had no idea what was going to happen but Cathy had bought a small tree and we planted the tree. I often wonder if the tree survived . These were the kind gestures that my youngest sister would do. Cathy thought about and loved unconditionally.
