We met Janet when we moved to Bawlf in 1975. She was an icon in town, very involved in community and the United Church. As store owner and postmistress, she knew everyone in town. She was instrumental in forming the Bawlf Town & Country ladies club. I remember lots of fun times with her at social events. The last time I saw her she gave me the biggest hug. Rest In Peace, Janet.
