Edith Josephine Schnyder

(November 2, 1925 - December 30, 2019)

Edith Josephine Schnyder of Camrose, AB, formerly of Daysland, AB, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the age of 94 years.

Edith was born on the family farm at Ankerton on November 2, 1925. She spent her time helping at home until 1953, when she married Art Schnyder of Daysland. They farmed together until 1993, when they retired to Camrose. She enjoyed having family around. In later years, bingo became important.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sister Mabel; numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her husband Arthur; sisters Helen Dietrich and Teresa Ramstad; brothers Art Helmig and Jim Helmig; niece Karen Greenwood; and nephews Wayne Helmig, Ward Ramstad, Blaine Ramstad, and Larry Gibson.

A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 - 51 Avenue Camrose with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating.
