Dear Joyce, Trish and Ron, Al and Nancy and families,
‘
We are very sad to hear of your great loss.
Grant was such a gentleman, the last of “the gang”, as Mom says.
I have known and loved Grant all my life, cherishing his gentle manner, warmth and caring. He made a difference in our lives, as well. I will always remember fun times at the lake, get-togethers at our house, how he “saved the day” by leaving our wedding reception, when we did, so that we could gas up our car at his service station on our way to Edmonton.
He always made us feel special and loved and was such a comfort to us, when Dad passed away.
Grant and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love from Bonnie and Dan Magnan, Adaliane Bethune

We extend our sincerest sympathies to Grant’s family.
Our hearts are deeply saddened to learn of Grant’s passing. He was truly a gentleman to the core. As neighbors in Wainwright, our family was able to reap the benefits of his wisdom and experience through our daily interactions. We feel blessed to have been able to call this gentle, kind and humble man our friend.
Rest In Peace dear neighbor!
Janice, Rob, Austin, Cameron, Nika, and Liam Aalbers

Deepest sympathy on the loss of your Father. He was a very kind gentleman and we remember him well from his various businesses he had in Wainwright. Cherish your memories and hold them close--it matters not the age we are never quite ready to say our final good bye to those we love.
