We have fond memories of David. Enock always laughs when he remembers David telling people that they were brothers at a conference. A gourmet cook to building a shed house. Not just any shed but a shed house. Our oldest is 30 now, we kindly remember his baby shower hosted at the Taylor house. Our last visit to the Taylor home we enjoyed good company and Fufu cooked by Enock in David's kitchen.
Thinking of David and Elaine brings smiles to our faces.
With love always
Enock and Carole

I was very sad to hear of David's passing. From the time I met his as a young Outbound Rotary Youth Exchange Student - to my conversations with him last summer - he treated me with kindness and respect.
His dedication to Youth Exchange and Rotary as a whole was to be admired. He certainly emulated the four-way test. He will be missed.
My sympathies to the family.
Stacey Strilchuk - Camrose Rotary Exchange Student - 89-90

Dear Elaine, Perry, Paul & Jennifer and spouses and grandchildren
we are very sorry to learn that David passed away.
You choose a typical picture of David, one can see his so intriguing eyes and one of his many many smiles. We will always remember this look while asking, taking part, answering, visiting, helping or while serving excellent food. And then there would be an additional story behind whatever he just did or said which he was so eager to tell you with a smile. And, until done, he could not sit still for a moment.
We are so glad to have met all of you 37 years ago and for years to come.
Ursina & Elmar

I had the wonderful opportunity to get to know David and Elaine well through Rotary. David was District Governor when I was part of the District training team so spent many hours together. David always took the time to ask about my wife Kelly and our two girls. He was a thoughtful and fully engaged leader and will be missed by all. Our thoughts go out to Elaine and the entire family at this difficult time.

I am sorry to hear of David's passing. He was such a community spirited man and usually had a new idea to share! When I was with Battle River Tourist Association David often helped us with various projects. Always the positive David. Sincere condolences to you Elaine and to your family.
