To the Haugen Family: My father, Abe Baergen, was in the Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital in Edmonton together with your father in the 1980's. Our moms provided support to each other during the times they waited outside those doors. I must say that my mom and I grew to appreciate your mom deeply, and as a result, she and Mom carried on the friendship after your father passed away. Another connection is that we know her brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Jean, and through the years, we have been made aware of your mom's whereabouts. We extend our sincere sympathy to your family. She was a lovely lady!
