Even though I met Martin just a few short months ago, he touched my life with the way he
embraced all that life handed him. I will miss his wonderful smile, his courageous way of moving through
so many challenges, his amazing sense of humour, his creativity, and the way he cared about his family and
friends with so much love and compassion. May your new life be filled with music, dancing and freedom!

We first met Martin in the latter years of his life. We were struck immediately, as were many others, by the courage he showed in his daily battle with the cancer that was ravaging his body. As our friendship grew, we discovered other aspects of his personality, especially his sense of humor. He never lost this quality, so that it was always a pleasure to spend time with him. Far from focusing on his own struggles, he directed the conversation in a way that left you feeling uplifted. We are grateful for the privilege of having known Martin and will deeply miss his company.

Martin has been a dear friend for many years..he loved to dance..play his guitar and sing as well as draw. He was very talented and what I loved about him was the love of his children..he enjoyed FaceTiming and playing cribbage..he will be missed by many. R.I.P. Martin. I’m sure you will be dancing with the angels.
