Jim and I were best friends in High School and the two years at Skagit Valley College. We made many trips to Canada in those years at Skagit and on vacations from WSU until he and Louise were married I often think of him and the many good times we had as youth. We were both very active in FFA leadership, judging and livestock raising and showing. We both used those experiences to make a successful life in agriculture and support of youth activities. I will continue to think of Jim’s warm laughter and friendship

These are very beautiful words written, on the loss of such a wonderful man. God Bless each of you! Take his memory with you, and (as Jim's words speak of "taking a friend for lunch or taking a kid fishing), please know that I will do just that.
