I was saddenned to hear of the passing of Mrs. Durand. Like so many people growing up in the New Norway area, I was blessed to have her as my Grade 2 teacher. My earliest and fondest memories as a student started with her. And as I grew older and got to be around her as an adult, my appreciation for her was solidified. My heart goes out to you all for the loss of this wonderful lady.
