Dennis and I send our deepest sympathies to all of Mabel's family and friends. Memories of sitting around the kitchen table sipping coffee with her and Bruce and enjoying the peace that Mabel's presence always bring mingles with memories of when we all were young and went on a motorcycle trip together. We stopped at a dingy roadside cafe for lunch one afternoon. After a fairly decent meal, Dennis decided to order the desert special. Mabel was undecided whether or not she wanted that desert but after Dennis said, "Oh yeahhhh, you will love this yummy desert. Go on--order it." I don't think she ever trusted his advice on food from that day forward because that desert was so rubbery that she could barely stick the spoon in it. Him and her would laugh about that desert every time it was mentioned. Thank you Mabel for being such a good friend.
