We've lived across the street from the Boos family for 38 years and have always appreciated what great neighbours they are. We will miss our chats, and seeing George always working in his front yard, which he took great care of. Our thoughts are with Wilma and her children and grandchildren at this difficult time.

Dennis and I send our deepest sympathies to George's family.
My first memory of George was when he answered the phone early one morning when our daughter Tracey was dating Greg. I had phoned his place when I had discovered that Tracey hadn't come home from her date the night before. When I asked him if he knew where Tracey was, he answered in that deep voice of his that she's somewhere around the place. He went to check and, sure enough, she was there. I'd gotten the feeling that he was very used to having kids coming and going at his home. As I got to know the family, I discovered that this feeling was right on. His & Wilma's home always had an open door of welcome to all the kids that came through during those years of raising their children.
Thank you George for being such a great dad and now grandpa.

My deepest and sincerest sympathy goes out to the whole family.
I have been a friend of the Boos family since childhood where we all lived and grew up in the same neighbourhood.
I have many fond memories of family gatherings, Mom, Dad John, George, and the whole family chatting and laughing together in a language I did not understand but was accepted into the group anyway.
My prayers and heart go out to you, may you find peace in the good memories you shared. Rest in peace my dear friend until we meet again … Marie Davis (Lyon)
