I am so deeply sorry and heartbroken for Ashley’s family. Ashley was a friend from Junior High and High School. I’ll never forget her amazing hair and when she taught me her “upside-down blowdrying trick” and of course our boy band obsession. She was an incredible dancer and we would often go to her competitions. Great memories of an innocent time. My children are the same age as her 2 little ones, and my heart breaks for them. I know she will be missed dearly and I pray for your strength to go on in this difficult time. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal. I was so sad to hear that news that Ashley passed away from cancer this past weekend.
Ashley was a warm, strong, smart and beautiful soul who worked with myself at Alberta Health Services. I will miss Ashley's wit and laughter, her tales of her cancer journey and wearing that wretched wig. Lol.
She was a lovely person, a hard worker and above all loved her children so much and wanted to be there with them each step of the way.
May you rest in peace Ashley! Thank you for the memories!
