Darren was a big part of my life, he was not only one of my favourite hockey coaches I ever had, he also taught me how to enjoy the game of hockey, and provided me lots of memorable moments on, and off the ice. For that I will remember what he taught me for the rest of my life. Everytime I lace up my skates I will think of you, thanks for everything. I was shocked to hear of Darren's passing. He was there for me at one of the worst times of my life and will never forget that. He was always so much fun to work with and was a friend for many years.
