Uncle Alphonse was one of my Dads older brothers. He loved all of his nieces and nephews like we were all his own kids. Auntie Alice his wife was very much like minded which is why they inspired me to this day to love and care for your familys and friends no matter what. Uncle Alphonse was kind and had such a funny sense of humor. In many ways he reminded me of my late Dad Eddy Edwin Alexander Stang his second youngest brother except my Dad had blonde hair and blue eyes. Yet their hearts, minds, and smiles matched up so perfectly despite their age differences. James Stang, Marshall and Bobby were like big brothers to us all despie living in different cornets of the province of AB. Uncle "Phonse"always liked to stop in on his way home to our Stang home farm on his ways back to Auntie Alice and Boys while in the Oil patch. Miss you uncle. you should have stayed till 90. we wanted to get u out on a real northern salmon and Halibut fishing adbenture Central Coast B.C. Catch you on the other side. Say yo to all my aunties and uncles and Grammas and Pappas up there in the sky having a heabenly Stang reunion Cabaret. This Buds for you, a true Molson Canadian and A Stang Labatts Blues from Macklin Saskatchewan...Love and Hugs to Auntie Alice...luv birds forever dancing in the sky!!!

Was sad to hear of Alphonse passing. Have fond memories of your dad. Always enjoyed his company. Considered him as a mentor; having a positive influence on my life while growing up. He is gone but will be remembered.
My thoughts are with you and your families as you grieve the passing of your father ...
