It was always a pleasure to see your Mom in Camrose and she proudly would tell me about you children. I have great memories of your family in Bawlf . Condolences to all of you! I have fond memories of Auntie Grete when she and all of your family would visit on the farm. I am also grateful that we were able to attend her birthday celebration a few years ago. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed! Wendy Orsten

Thank you Wendy! We were blessed with a great calm winter day at the graveside service on Friday so felt at peace Mom had gone home to a better place especially now with lockdowns and such! She was a great example to us in her later years with her thankfulness and contentment!RY

Thanks so much Cathy! We will miss her alot for sure but so thankful she died peacefully in her sleep and is in her better eternal home now without restrictions! She was a great example to us of her thankfulness and contentment in her widowed life! Hope to see you at her memorial service later next year!

Thanks for your message. Yes is hard as you know to say goodbye but we all felt at peace at graveside service knowing she is in her far better eternal home now which exceeds anything here especially now! Going back to lockdown was not ideal for her or anyone! So we are grateful the Lord saw fit to take her now and not later. We still hope to have a memorial service next year sometime!

Hello,
I am writing for Elsa Schendler who is unable to write this web-based message for herself. Grete and Elsa spent a lot of time socializing together over the years and Elsa will miss her very much. I am from Ontario and only saw them together occasionally but always appreciated their simple pleasure of each other's company and Grete's enjoyment of being alive and little whimsical humourous comments. All Elsa's and my regards for the family loss.

Thank you so much for your greetings! We so enjoyed your Mother during the times my sister Gloria and I visited and played table games with our Mom as she patiently sat and watched us! It was so good they had each other to walk around and enjoy their home together. I feel badly for your Mom now being there without her so hope she adjusts okay. We are sad but rejoicing for Mom as she had a strong simple faith from childhood that brought her thru much. So now her home is a heavenly one! Thanks
