I have very fond memories of visiting Vera and Johnny with my family on Sunday afternoons. We would go for coffee and to.pick up eggs. Visit the farm animals, and we got our very first dog from them "Inky" the Australian Blue Healer. Vera had a heart of gold and worked very hard...always having a big garden. Vera will be miss by all that knew her. May all the memories that her family has help them through this difficult time.

I met Vera when my twin and I went to the Dinant High School in Grade 9. Jessie Cail sat ahead of me that year and Vera was straight across from me.
Both of them have been pretty special friends. Your dad was very special to me--always upbeat and dependable.
I enjoyed the three of you so much at Sifton. Thanks for being the great people you were.
Vera will be sadly missed by so many. I am so sorry for your loss

Vera was so special to us and our favourite neighbour from the time we met her on Marler. I’ll always remember her bringing many times special cinnamon buns.
